We, along with many other funders, recognise the Covid-19 pandemic as the defining global crisis of our time that is having a major impact on individuals, communities and civil society groups worldwide.
JLF is a signatory to the Funders Pledge on Covid-19 which sets out our commitment to be as flexible as we can be during this period of uncertainty and change.
As a result of the pandemic, we have suspended our grants strategy for the time being. Our trustees have decided that the JLF's initial response will focus on supporting organisations with which we have an existing relationship or with which we have had a long association in the past.
As the impact of the pandemic becomes clearer, we are doing our best to adapt and to act quickly so that the projects we choose to fund can provide the services so desperately needed.
