JLF Emergency Response

News

As part of our response to the Covid-19/ Coronavirus pandemic, JLF trustees established an Emergency Grant fund of £100,000 in April 2020 which we are allocating to organisations to help them deal with the ongoing crisis.

We have also joined forces with more than 60 other funders to become part of the London Community Response.  This new initiative, set up in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, offers a single application point for charities and community groups – helping them to access funding from multiple funders in a fast and efficient way.

So far, we have funded 14 organisations - helping to support a range of projects including: activities for young people, mentoring, advice for disabled people, support for children with sickle cell disease, face mask production for vulnerable people and emergency assistance for refugees and asylum seekers.
