New Independent Trustees Appointed

Claire Brown and Henry Donne have been appointed trustees of the Joseph Levy Foundation.

Claire is a non-practising solicitor and business consultant who has volunteered with Merstham Neighbours and Merton Vision charities.  Henry is an Investment Director with Rathbones Plc.  He has previously been a local authority appointed school governor and a local parish councillor.

Jane Jason OBE, Chair of the Joseph Levy Foundation said:

"On behalf of the trustees I am delighted to welcome Claire and Henry to the Board.  We look forward to working with them both to expand and develop our current grant making strategy. We look forward to building working relationships with other trusts and foundations in order to make a significant difference.”

Claire and Henry join Jane and her three children, James, Mark and Katy as trustees of the Joseph Levy Foundation.

On her appointment Claire said:

“I am delighted to join the JLF board of trustees and become involved in the good work of this incredible foundation, with its tremendous history of supporting young people experiencing disadvantage. Joseph Levy’s philanthropic aims seem more important today than ever”.

On his appointment Henry said:

“It was an honour to be asked to become a trustee of the Joseph Levy Foundation. Having been aware of the amazing work done by the Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund, with support from the Foundation, I am excited to see what can further be achieved going forward.”
